You will want to obtain either a State ID or a Driver's License to use as ID instead of your passport.

The Department of Revenue no longer requires a letter from the ASSIST office.

You will be required to take the written exam first, then the driving test.  Here is the link to the , please read the driver guide to study prior to taking the written and driving test.

What you will need to take with you:

  • Your passport
  • Your I-20 (continued attendance)
  • Full-Time Verification Letter
    • Obtained from Academic Services, located in the Fiscal Affairs Building.
  • Proof of Address: 
    • If a commuter - phone bill, utility bill, etc.
    • If a resident - letter from Residential Life.
  • Social Security 
    • DENIAL letter, if you do not have an SSN.
      • To get the Denial letter you will need to make an appointment with the Social Security office
