Internships
Internship Program Requirements
While attending Lindenwood, students are encouraged to participate in internships where they will take advantage of having real-world application to complement their academic course work. Sociology students have completed internships at world-class companies such as:
- Make-A-Wish Foundation
- Urban League
- American Red Cross
- Gateway Pet Guardian
- Right at Home Healthcare
Students interested in the sociology internship will be required to complete both academic written work and on-site work to fulfill the internship requirements. Students can choose to take SOC 45000: Internship in Sociology for one, two or three credit hours. Each credit hour requires students to complete 50 on-site hours.
